Tom Rupprecht Inducted into 2025 Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame
2/27/2025 — Tom Rupprecht, Executive Vice President of R&R Realty Group, has been inducted into the 2025 ReJournals Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame, recognizing more than three decades of leadership and tremendous impact across the Midwest commercial real estate industry.
Under Tom’s leadership, ICON Construction generated more than $72 million in development revenue in 2025. Throughout his career, he has led more than $1 billion in construction and development activity and delivered over 10 million square feet of industrial and office space across Iowa and Nebraska.
He currently leads a team of more than 50 professionals, overseeing construction and property management operations that support nearly 400 businesses operating in buildings he helped bring from concept to completion. His work reflects a disciplined focus on long-term asset performance, tenant experience, and sustainable growth.
Among the most notable projects of his career is the redevelopment of the 272,000-square-foot Arcadia Building in West Des Moines. The transformation of the former single-tenant office property into a modern Class-A workplace earned CoStar’s Redevelopment of the Year and was named runner-up by the Des Moines Business Record. The project reached stabilized occupancy within 12 months.
