OUR HISTORY:

Founded by Daniel Rupprecht as a commercial real estate company in 1985, R&R Realty Group quickly became one of the largest real estate development and property management firms in Iowa. R&R currently owns and manages millions of square feet of office, retail, multifamily, and warehouse facilities. In addition, R&R owns more than 500 acres of land for future development.

In 2001, R&R Equity Partners was founded with the purpose to seek joint venture partners for R&R properties.

1985: R&R Investors Ltd. begins operations at 805 Grand Avenue in Des Moines. The company acquires and starts development for Three Fountains Office Park and Aurora Business Park. Additionally, R&R develops Terrace Center Office Building.

1986: Development of Winwood Apartments in Johnston begins.

1987: Development of Terrace Place Office Building begins. R&R relocates to Neptune Building in Three Fountains Office Park in West Des Moines. R&R has a total of nine employees.

1990: R&R Investors Ltd. changes its name to R&R Realty Group.

1991: Development of Country Club Office Plaza commences with Wells Fargo Card Services Office Building.

1995: R&R relocates to Coronado Building in Country Club Office Plaza in West Des Moines. R&R has a total of 40 employees.

1996: Begins development of Meredith Business Park. In addition, R&R acquires Palisade Office Building adjacent to Three Fountains Office Park in West Des Moines.

2000: Realty Technology Services, Inc. and Construction Services, Inc. are created.

2001: Interstate Acres Warehouse I, II, III, and V and Century III are acquired. Additionally, Management Professionals, Inc., Realty Marketing Group, Development Services Corporation, Realty Capital Corporation, and R&R Equity Partners are formed.

2004: R&R relocates to Pinehurst Building in Country Club Office Plaza. The company has 75 employees.

2005: Development of Paragon Office Park in Urbandale commences. Additionally, R&R acquires Country Club Village Apartments in West Des Moines.

2007: Paragon Prairie Tower in Paragon Office Park is built.

2010: R&R Realty Group celebrates 25 years of business, owning and managing over 5.5 million square feet of real estate. R&R has 101 employees in total.

2012: R&R acquires Regency West Office Park in West Des Moines.

2013: R&R announces an expansion into Omaha with Fountain West Office Park, with a planned 540,000 SF in 8 buildings on a 40-acre campus.
