It was a big day for R&R Realty Group at the 2018 Iowa Commercial Real Estate Expo. The annual event features educational seminars, keynote speakers and an awards presentation by the Iowa Commercial Real Estate Association (ICREA) for standouts within the industry. On Tuesday, two of those awards went home with R&R brokers.
Receiving the 2018 Broker of the Year award was Adam Kaduce. Adam was nominated by Paul Rupprecht, President of R&R Real Estate Advisors, who called out his 27 completed deals in 2017 and his extensive community involvement in the nomination letter.
”Adam brings a passion and zeal for his clients’ success, knowing that their success will result in success for him,” remarked Rupprecht. “It’s clear that his goal with each client is to add real value through real estate.”
Brittany Freund received the 2018 Deal of the Year (under $5 million) award for her work finding Yesway convenience stores a new space for their corporate headquarters. The premise that led to this award seemed simple enough – Yesway was rapidly growing and needed space that they could call home for a long time while continuing their growth. Working with Yesway’s broker, Korey Birkenholtz and former R&R broker, Kate Byus, Brittany dedicated herself to this deal.
“A lot of time and creativity went into making this deal happen,” commented Freund. “At the end of the day, R&R got a great long-term tenant and Yesway got a beautiful new space that will accommodate their growth for years to come.”
