R&R Realty Group Cuts Ribbon on Latest Warehouse

Leaders from R&R Realty Group and the Grimes Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon on Prairie III, the Des Moines Metro’s newest speculative warehouse yesterday.

R&R Realty Group President Mark Rupprecht with Grimes Chamber Board Chair, Andrea Sabus.

The 300,000 square foot warehouse is the most recent addition to Prairie Business Park, a development located near the intersection of Highway 141 with I-80/35 in Grimes. The completion of Prairie III brings the park’s total size to 800,000 square feet. Two other warehouses have been completed and a fourth is planned. Each of the park’s buildings have been designed to meet the needs of modern warehouse users with features like 32-foot ceiling heights and ESFR fire suppression systems.

“There’s been a strong demand for warehouse space from both traditional users and companies looking to use the space for office, showrooms, light assembly or even research and development,” said Mark Rupprecht, President of R&R Realty Group.

“Ultimately, these organizations are looking for customizable space with expansion opportunities in a strategically valuable location and that’s exactly what Prairie III will offer them.”
