R&R Employees Step Up Giving Efforts in 2019

As part of an annual giving campaign, employees of R&R Realty Group pledged a record-breaking $175,713.00 to the United Way of Central Iowa. This figure represents a substantial increase from the $150,725.79 given during the 2018 campaign.

“Each year, our employees give generously to the United Way of Central Iowa and 2019 has proven to be no exception,” said Mark Rupprecht, President of R&R Realty Group. “I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to our employees for supporting an organization that does so much to further our community.”

R&R’s employee participation rate for the 2019 United Way campaign topped 90 percent, a figure which Rupprecht says is due to the company’s Employee Engagement Committee.

“We have a group of dedicated employees who champion a positive and philanthropic company culture through initiatives like the annual United Way campaign. The creativity and enthusiasm of this group is what made this year’s campaign a record-breaker.”

In addition to the annual giving campaign, R&R also played host to the United Way of Central Iowa’s 2019 Tocqueville Society Celebration at the Westfield Campus in West Des Moines. The Tocqueville Society is a group of central Iowa contributors who give $10,000 or more annually to effect lasting and measurable change to our community’s most pressing issues.

The United Way of Central Iowa was founded more than 100 years ago and acts as a conduit between community leaders and local nonprofits, aiming to create sustainable solutions to our community’s most pervasive problems.
