R&R Realty Group came together with the City of Urbandale and the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce to cut the ribbon on the Urban Loop’s newest development, Center Pointe Business Park.
The event celebrated the completion of Northpark Drive, which will serve as the main thorofare for Center Pointe, a business park slated to feature more than 1,000,000 square feet of office, retail and commercial space.
“We’re very excited about the opportunities here at Center Pointe,” said Mark Rupprecht, President of R&R Realty Group. “The reimagination of roads and infrastructure within this part of Urbandale has spurred interest from several companies, including Casey’s General Stores, which has signed on as the anchor convenience store for this development.”
Center Pointe is the latest development within the Urban Loop, an economic development area spanning four square miles within the City of Urbandale. Other R&R developments within the Urban Loop include Aurora Business Park, Paragon Business Park and the Paradigm Building, which is slated for completion in late 2018.
“R&R has been a great contributor to Urbandale’s economic development for decades,” said Bob Andeweg, Mayor of Urbandale. “Center Pointe is just the latest evidence of how a city and a developer can work together to achieve something great.”
Construction continues on the 100th street interchange, along with the additional work being done by the Iowa Department of Transportation on Highway 141, west of Center Pointe. Upon completion of these projects, dual access to Center Pointe will be possible from the west along NW 54th Avenue.
