President
As President of Management Professionals, Inc., Joe oversees the daily management of more than 10 million square feet of owned and managed commercial space. As part of these daily responsibilities, Joe manages a professional team of engineers, technicians and financial specialists.
Joe also oversees R&R Realty Group’s multifamily portfolio and the teams that manage and lease these residential communities. Under Joe’s leadership, MPI has been awarded placement in both Midwest Real Estate News’ Best of the Best and Des Moines Business Record’s Best of Des Moines lists multiple times.
Joe joined R&R Realty Group in 2001 and holds a bachelors degree from Iowa State University. He and his wife Judy have three children and when not working, Joe enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time outdoors with his family.
Joe is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Iowa.

Senior Vice President, Finance & Business Development
Mike Herrmann maintains the fiduciary responsibilities for all managed properties representing the expectations of both the tenant and the owner. These responsibilities include: developing operating budgets for all properties, investigating variances in operational performance, as well as reconciling tenant expenses on an annual basis.
Additionally, he is responsible for ensuring that the company’s vendor contracts offer tenants the most cost-conscious service while at the same time maintaining a high standard of performance.
Mike earned a B.S. and Master of Accounting from Iowa State University. Additionally, he earned his CPA and CGMA designations from the State of Iowa and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Senior Vice President, Operations
Scott has over twenty years of commercial real estate experience and is responsible for the operations of more than 6.5 million square feet of commercial property. He provides overall direction and guidance to the operational activities across the portfolio. Scott directs a team of highly skilled maintenance and grounds professionals to ensure that the highest level of customer service is delivered each and every day to our valued customers.
Scott joined R & R Realty Group in 1994 after serving five years in the U.S. Army. Throughout his career at R & R Realty Group, Scott has had responsibilities in general maintenance, HVAC, facilities management, space planning, construction project management, move coordination and tenant relations.
Scott earned his B.A. from William Penn University.
Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Iowa.

Senior Vice President, Tenant Relations
Jenny is responsible for the overall tenant relations and customer service for Management Professionals, Inc. She works closely with the other subsidiaries of the company to meet deadlines and performance expectations for both the tenant and owner. Jenny ensures best practices and appropriate services are delivered in a timely manner, and she is responsible for the supervision of the property managers on both the commercial and residential sides of the business. She has fifteen years of experience in the property management industry.
Jenny earned a B.S. from Morningside College. She holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, and CAM and CAPS designations from the National Apartment Association. She is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Iowa.
