Daniel Rupprecht

R&R Realty Group was formed in 1985 by Daniel Rupprecht. Dan was previously employed by Principal Financial Group for 17 years. His responsibilities included managing its national real estate equity and joint venture portfolio, as well as the origination and servicing of commercial loans in the western one-half of the United States. He also has over 15 years of research park experience in Iowa.

R&R Realty Group, a family-owned company, is a diversified real estate development/property management company based in West Des Moines.

R&R Realty Group is the largest office and flex space developer/owner in the Metro Des Moines area. R&R has developed, owns and manages over 6,000,000 square feet of office, flex industrial and multi-family space.

Mark Rupprecht

Mark has more than 29 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry including development, leasing and asset management of various commercial real estate projects.  He is responsible for the overall management, administration and performance of R&R Realty Group’s commercial real estate portfolio and operating companies.  Mark is focused on developing R&R Realty Group into one of the top full service commercial real estate firms in the region. 

Mark graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration majoring in finance.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines, the Greater Des Moines Partnership, and the Advisory Board for Wells Fargo Bank.  Mark is also a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO Gold) and the Greater Des Moines Committee as well as a member of the Business Record's inaugural Forty Under 40 class and a graduate of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute.

Steven K. Gaer is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for R&R Realty Group.

After 10 years with Marsh & McLennan Companies, most recently as Managing Director responsible for the Affinity Group Insurance Program Division (formerly Kirke Van Orsdel, Incorporated), Steven joined R&R Realty Group in April of 2004. Prior to joining Marsh & McLennan, Steven was with the Des Moines law firm of Ahlers & Cooney, P.C., where he practiced as a shareholder and associate for nine years.

Steven is currently serving his third term as Mayor of West Des Moines, after serving eight years as a West Des Moines City Council member.

Steven received his BBA from the University of Kentucky in 1983, graduating with high distinction, and received his JD in 1986 from the Drake University Law School, graduating with honors (Order of the Coif). Steven is also active in the Iowa State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Iowa, U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Also, Steven is currently serving on the following boards: Greater Des Moines Partnership, Metropolitan Planning Organization, West Bancorporation and West Bank, and County Assessor Conference (Polk, Dallas, Madison and Warren).

Tony Rogers
Chief Financial Officer

Tony Rogers serves as the Chief Financial Officer of R&R Realty Group.  He began his career as an auditor for three years at KPMG, working with a variety of clients, including real estate companies. Tony started his career with R&R Realty Group in 1996. As CFO, Tony is responsible for all financial aspects of the company, including accounting, reporting, taxes and investing. In addition, he is responsible for capital attraction and placement, both from a debt and equity basis; performed by developing and maintaining long-term relationships in the financial and capital markets.

Tony graduated with an Accounting Degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 1993.  He currently serves on the boards of Make-A Wish Iowa, Waukee Community Schools Foundation and University of Northern Iowa Accounting Advisory Council.  He is actively involved in youth ministries at Luthern Church of Hope.
